Sorry, forgot to mention that I took these with FZ20+Tcon14B at sunset.

Great shots...the detail in the ducks plumage almost makes it look like it's been painted.

Thanks Tony, I lucked out on these two, especially using a teleconverter wide open...I usually get purple fringing asa result.

Well, I was going to say the duck is perfect but I wish you had gotten the gull's tail. But then I noticed the slider bar on the bottom of the screen and moved it. So, they are both perfect. Your gull looks like he could beat up my gulls.

These are really impressive. Great shots. I can hardly come near this quality with my FZ5 + Tcon17.

Happy - Thanks for the kind words, and yes my gull can beat your gull cause it takes steroids:G

Robin - Thanks for looking and commenting. I'm glad you liked the pics, it helps me to know when I'm doing it right.

Beth - Glad you liked them. One of the reasons why I got the Tcon14B over the Tcon17 besides the 62mm thread that fit perfectly on the Phayee adapter was that even though it wasn't as powerful as the 17 = 1.7 magnification compared to 1.4 on the 14B many of the test pictures I found on the net comparing the two showed that the 14B was sharper at center and had less purple fringing then the 17. One way to correct this is to stop it down a couple o F stops and you shouldn't have any problem.
