Hi,

My names Ant (Pants) from the UK. I purchased an FZ8 after months of dileberation and waiting. Was going to wait for a 550UZ but glad I didn't bother after reading the reviews.

Have no idea what settings these pictures are at I'm a complete novice and purchased this camera for 2 main reasons, 1-need a new hobby, 2-going to Kenya in 2 months and wanted a new camera with a long zoom.

Anyways let me know what you think. A small amount of cropping and auto light balance in photoshop is the most thats been done but most not even that just shrunk to 800 width.

Cheers

Pants

Forgot to mention all pictures taken free hand no tripod.

This does make it hit and miss at full zoom in low light !!!

Nice start Ants (or is it Pants?). I really like 4 & 5. For a complete novice you have done very well on a couple of those shots the black dog is very nicely done exposure wise. I am sure you will learn to love the camera as you explore its capabilities.

Welcome to the forum.
