I love flash drives

I store slide shows on them, carry pictures to friends on them etc.

They are the ultimate floppy/zip disk.

ebay ebay ebay ...

I got a 4Gb HD-SD 150x Card and a usb HD-SD card reader that turns the card into a USB Flash drive for

£9.99

with is currently about $18 or something like that.

It's much faster than my other USB 2 flash drives and I can just plug it into my camera.

For the record If anyone's thinking of moving to Microsoft Vista ... The above method also allows the memory on your card to be used to improve the speed of your computer this is called "Ready Boost"

What do you mean by plug flash drive into camera.

Do the pictures transfer to the flash drive without a pc :?

nope....

The SD card is a 4 GB. It slots into the FZ8.

The Card can then be slotted into the USB Flash card reader.

This reader looks like a USB Flash drive with the width of an SD card.

This enables you to use it in the same way you do a normal USB flash drive....

I'll take a piccy for you later

Cheers

Oh

I thought you ment you were connecting a usb 2.0 flash drive to your camera.

I have one of those you refer to. It came with a 1 gig sd chip.

Thanks,
