It was an overcast day, but I managed to get some shots of the dolphin show at the aquarium I visited with my girlfriend. Really beautiful animals, smart as heck too. My dream is to capture them in the wild, where they belong. With my camera, of course

Enjoy.

And a nice sunset on the Sea of Japan with a glass of wine...

Hard shots very well taken.

I really like the last picture but then I'm a sucker for a nice sunset

Has anyone taken shots like the sunset and used the HDR effect on the FZ?

The foreground was right, had the sea also been in focus a bit more or sharp it would have been surreal

Hey all, thanks for the comments. The last shot of the sunset was taken through a window, so I couldn't get the background as clear as I would have liked. Ahh well, can't get them all:-)

I actually quite liked the blurred background on that shot, I think it probably works better than a sharp background. No accounting for taste.

Nice work on teh dolphins as well.

Nice photos fina23

Is the fish in picture one a dolphin or a baby orca (no long bottle nose like others)

The frozen spray and shinny skin make me think it is a plastic lawn orniment like the plastic flamengo that was once a popular lawn decoration in middle america.

Sunset looks good too!
