Nice shots Mark! Flies are very strange creatures, I'm still trying to get a picture of a fly blowing a bubble. I haven't been able to shoot any fly porn either, but I did get pictures of a cannibalistic robber fly.

I am just wondering how you all manage to get such a sharp and detail picture that too of an insect??? Nice ....

Thanks vaiboy. I missed a good opportunity the other day of a Zebra spider which had caught one of these flies, but the tussle had ended by the time i returned with my camera as the fly had managed to escape.

mclui, thanks for the kind comments.Once you get the right lens to get closeups like this its just a matter of practice to get the images sharp. Mine still have quite a way to go before they equal the standards of a few macro photographers on this forum, but i`m persevering...

Is the 3rd couple the same as the first two??

Nice shots. We got a cold spell here and so I am not out taking any photos.

Thanks Beth. No, the 3rd couple were a different pair. Our weathers turned cold and grey again today,so not many opportunities for pics here either......
