It's been a while since I've taken any pictures with only the DCR-250 attached to my camera. I got so used to using the 250 stacked with the 5320 that I forgot how nice it was to be more than 2 inches away from the subject. Oh well here's a few shots.

Winged bug mating.

Bug porn

More bug porn

Bug laying eggs.

About to become bug porn

Porn aside, that is sure an interesting series of shots. How long did you have to wait to get all those shots.

From whatI can tell the females seem to steak out a blossomtolay their eggs, and they stay there most of the time. The males roam around looking for the females. I spotted thefemale laying it's eggs on a blossom. The male dropped down from aleaf above maybe 2 minutes after I noticed the female (shots #6 & #7). Shot's #3 - #5 were a different pair, and shot's #1 and #2was just the first bug I saw when I started. I was only out there for about 20 minutes this afternoon.

Nice shots as always vaiboy. You definitely appear to have created your own unique style of lighting in your macro shots, and very effective it is too

Nice series for sure. I think you should be called Fly Boy to go with your avatar.
