Such a delicate flower and so nicely captured. I always thought buttercups were yellow, mainly because I have seen very few and they were. So your photo was a learning tool.

Thanks Steve, as for the color, I've always called them buttercups. When we were kids, we use to pick them and when someone was least expecting, we would crush it against them, and the pollen would stick on all over them. Thay was our toys, whatever we could come up with.:G

Guess, I got lucky with this one.It was a lone flower on the way to the tomato plants.
