The boat pictures were taken from the St Francis Yacht Club Parking lot. Time about 9am on a fogy day. 7 PICS

Those are super photos!!! I love all of them and sure looks like a neat place!!! I like the look of the town houses in the back of the boats and I like the replica Roman ruins (?).

Thanks annie for the kind comments.

As a note, those town-houses average $2 - 3 million each (yes, property in S.F. is expensive). The Palace of Fine Arts was built in 1915 for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition and was not meant to be a permanent structure, and throughout the years it started to fall apart. In 1960 the city decided to completely rebuild the Palace of Fine Arts as a permanent structure and that's what stands today.
