My Dmc tz-1 does not take aux. lenses. The close ups are very good but.............

For my Kodak Z7590 I have a tele, wide and Fisheye aux. lens. One of the extension tubes takes 52mm screw in tings. I looked at the Raynox web site and they make no mention of Kodak digtal cameras . I see no reason why a snap on close up lens of theirs would not work other than how do you focus it:?

1/ Does the camera focus via auto focus regardless of degree of zoom

2/ Do you have to move the camera back and forward to fnd point of focus

Hi Bill, the raynox lenses work best if you set the camera focus to manual and move the camera forward or back to achieve focus, as in your example 2. Autofocus does work at times but is very hit and miss.....

Thanks Mark

Looks like I can stop saving all that rotten meat to lure all the flies to my camera site.
