Well thisis probablythe same ladybug that I shot yesturday morning. I found it on a weed about 10 inches from where it "hatched". This time I was prepared with more diopters, but the sun was setting and the wind was blowing. I'm suprised the auto focus worked at all in the low light. After these shots I think I am ready to try something different with the lighting, I ordered a sunpak FP-38 panel flash. Maybe with different lighting I could get the ladybug to look cute instead of evil.

Lovely sharp shots vaiboy. I like pic 4....looks as though he`s balancing and saying "look, no hands!"

Beautiful shots. Sharp and detailed. Love the tones too, not overbright.

Thanks for the comments!

I really wanted to get better lighting around the ladybug's head but I could never get it quite where I wanted it. I'm not exactly shure what it was doing in shot #4 but I laughed when I saw how it turned out.

Wonderful shots working with the light you had. They have character really showing the activity of the Ladybug.
