Great action captured Beth!

What was the settings? The JS left eye is sharper than its right eye...not sure if its a DOF issue.

Thanks all! I appreciate the feedback.

tchuayne, yes, I noted that.. I was in "macro" mode for the time I was out and was working in natural light. My settings were automatic at f/4 - 1/160. The data says I was at 52.3mm but I also had the Canon 240/Elpro VIb stacked. I thought I was at 8x zoom but I tend to try different things and don't quite remember. DOF is an area I really must improve on and so am open to advice. )

I think its best to set it at F8 for more DOF....thats always lacking in macros, and we have to squeeze as much as we can from the camera.
I would recommend A mode or better M mode.

understand on the zoom....I also tend to forget my settings.....I just zoom in and out to frame the shot!
