All of the shots are to your usual very high standard, but #2's lighting and composition makes it exceptional.

Great shots and such wonderful colors. The moth is unreal, and the "Gatorade" green bug looks really cool! The bugs around here are so drab in comparison.
Your bugs may be drab, but perhaps you could find some small scorpions. They would look impressive at screen size, and some are almost translucent sometimes.
I have lived here since 1979 and I have never seen a scorpion at the house. We used to have tons of black widows around here but I don't even find those anymore. Some people would call me crazy, but I remember catching black widows. They were so cool! I even remember a few kids from school bringing tarantulas that they found near thier houses for show and tell. Thisarea used to be the edge of town and now the housing developments go on for another 15 miles at least. Urban sprawl sucks!

I really like a lot the color combinations in the first and last shots (and sharpness is as always the maximum one can get). But also the BF is really nice (in this case the black background works fine)

Are you kidding us Tan? I've never seen such a variety and interesting pictures/subjects! By the way, number one and two are exceptional!
