Iwent out trying to get pictures of birds this morning, so I had the teleconverter on the camera. I wasn't having any luck with the birds, they were staying in the shade and moving around to much for me to get a clear shot. I was about to put my stuff away when my cat, Cartman, jumped up on a block wall and posed for me.

I used the tele-macro mode with the 1540 teleconverter.

Thanks for the comments!

He always has been kind of a cute cat, but he isso spoiled rotten and he is getting grumpy in his old age. He spends most of his time now chasing stray cats, lizards, and birdsout of our backyard.

Beautiful shot, I love how the light reflects in the eye giving it great depth....giving meaning to the phrase "The eyesare the mirror of the soul"

By the way, I like cats much more than spiders:G

raf - I always think he looks worried, I sure would like to know what was really going on in his head!

Hiroshi - The picture makes me think of a Steve Vai song, "Windows to the Soul" It's one of my favorites.
