I didnt think there were a great number of Zebra Spiders in the garden....but today I came across loads of them on one of the outhouse walls....probably 25 to 30 in all. I also managed to witness some interesting behaviour between rival males, and males and females which I didnt manage to capture today but hope to soon.
First shot was a rather lucky fly......the jumper got within range.....leapt to strike and the fly managed to evade capture....not a great pic as it was hastily taken but I was glad to capture the moment......

Very nice Mark. The spider in 2 looks like it wants a chat with you.

Those are all great shots, I never was able to get that kind of detail with the DCR150. Hopefully the jumpers will return here soon soI can try out my new panel flash.

#2 is my fave, the eyes and hair on top of his head are perfectly sharp.
Good work.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. Feels like these are all i`ve been shooting lately (and posting).....need a few more species to show up....I`d hate to bore you all with too many shots of the same species..
