Compared to yesterday there were lots of different species about....must have taken over 400 shots today, some i`m extremely pleased with.....

#1 Garden spider on it`s web. This was a very frustrating subject, as the wind today made getting decent focus very difficult....out of about 50 shots, only 3 came out ok!!

Another fly species turned up too....think this one is a type of Gnat, but not certain....

And for the first time i`m aware of, managed this shot of a male Wolf Spider, I was also able to watch the courtship display they put on to the females.......fascinating to watch.....

Another small species of fly turned up as I was shooting the Wolf spiders, so couldnt resist snapping a few pics....

And finally, I managed to get the best hoverfly shots i`ve taken so far, extremely pleased with this, and the others of this species I took today.....

Wow Mark those are all great! I especially like the lady bird and the last hover fly. I believe the second shot is a crane fly.

Getting consistently good results Mark. I really like the ladybrid with the way the narrow DOF runs across the image.
