the young Gorilla is very lonely, so he may be sad.
Baby G. is tired, but very happy. It is only a few days old.

All I see is wonderful expressions and poses.
I don't recall being moved by primate pics before.

thanks annie, Ted and tinosa (and all not posting visitors!),

the other primates were sleeping at that time. These modern zoos are fantastic. The animals can hide whenever they want and if they like it, they can be seen without barriers. In this case the apes studied the visitors too.

the telezoom helps to avoid some of the reflections.

Here is an example taken during the time when the "lady in red" was next to me:
