Take out a little bread and they come running.

Actually this mother duck has done a fine job. We have so many Hawks in the area there is usually one or two ducks left by the time there this big.

They start off so cute.

And then before long they get ugly fast. These ducks are ugly around here but I like them because they have personality I like. The nicer lookingones are kinda boringto me.

Thanks for the comments. I really enjoy doing those kinds of closeup shots. The two shots with the little ducks were taken pretty far away and I pushed the cropping to its limits.

Hard to believe with all the photos I have stored in my computer now that I just started doing this hobby in November.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. There's just nothing cuter than baby ducks!

Well done, liked them all, who doesn't like ducklings after all. Favourites are the close ups.

Since Hiroshi picked all the other ones, I will say I like number 1. Mainly because of the very light duck in the center. Because he is so light the determined "I will get mine!" look on his face shows up really well. Yeah, baby ducks are cute, but the grownups aren't bad either.

Love these! Especially the small chicks. Gret sharpness and framing of shots.
