I have got to sit and pose for me. Cute little bugger isn't it.
I used a Nikon 6t with a Nikon 3t stacked on it.

An extreme closeup. This shot makes the huse eyes look even larger then they do in real life. Talk about a bug-eyed monster.

That's awesome, great shot!

We don't see many dragonflies around here and whenwe do they are normally flying by. I would love to get close to one but it hasn't happened yet.

Had you not mentioned in the title but instead left it to us to guess, I would have found it difficult. Extremely clear close-up and excellent DoF for such a close shot. Great job, certainly deserves POTD. May I know what you did to make it cooperate?

Thanks everyone for looking and the nice comments. I was so happy to get some Dragon Fly shots as this is the first one that has sat still for me.
Raghu, I was just standing in our flower garden looking for something to shoot and it flew by me and landed on some flowers. I figured it would fly away immediately but it stayed put even long enough for me to go into the house and get another lens.
