Default Batteries for the FZ1

I found 3rd party batteries for the FZ1 for $24.95 + shipping!

I can not speak for the quality of these batteries as I have just ordered one myself and have not tried the battery yet.

Contact [email protected] for more info.

I also found some here:

http://www.avantipower.com/

Contact: [email protected]

Or do a search on eBay (make sure you check the box for "titles and description") for the following:

FZ1 Battery

DMW-BM7 (I think this is the Hong Kong part # for the battery)

[CORRECTION: This is the Japanese part number]

As I said in my post above, I have not used this battery yet. I have ordered one and expect it this week or next week. I am just passing along the info to the Panasonic user community.

I got my battery in the mail yesterday, charged it up, slipped it in the camera and away I go! The battery didn't explode, so I assume it is safe to use!

If anyone is interested in going in on an order, let me know, I might be able to get 10% of an order of 10 or more batteries. (Of course there would be shipping, and I would charge the exact shipping rate.)

Hi again Tony.

genuine from panasonic.co.uk (up and running again) : 58
alternative from eurobatteries.com : 38
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...category=15215
ebay in USA buy it now price : 16

That seems fair enough.

I followed this suggestion and ordered from Eagle Imports. They were out of stock, but Zach put my order through when stock was replenished. The battery I received has the same specs as the one that came with the camera.

Thanks for posting this information, PrmseKpr. It was very helpful.

Thanks just asked seller for a delivery price to UK..

I found lots once I knew what to look for but the cheapest i could find uk was

http://www.any-batteries.co.uk/batte...amodel=DMW-BM7

Seems a good price but then ask for your money in US Dollars.,.This put me off. i dont mind dealing in US currency and indeed have asked the ebay for a price and thats US.. Just looks dodgy paying a UK seller in US currency.

Thanks..Should be sorted this week

You're welcome! If you told Zach that "PrmseKpr" sent you, he probably said "Who?" Because I didn't buy under that alias (I used my real name! Imagine that!)
