Spent all morning chasing butterflies at a local nature reserve, without much success. Not many showing, and those that were, were particularly skittish so getting close was difficult.
Managed this shot though, of a Small White....taken with a +1 dioptre filter. The rest are taken with the raynox....



And this closeup of a Cranefly.....



Back at home, there were lots of Hoverflies around the pond in the sun, managed quite a few nice shots, posted this one as its my favourite of those taken today...

These have a little something extra. I loved the second one, it has a very interesting perspective, almost an abstract, arty feel.
