At last I have discovered one lot of people who will stand still for a photo! These guys just stand there no matter what is going on around them. I don't know how they manage not reacting to the hundreds of tourists getting so close each day but they seem pros with it.

Nice series. Loved the way we kept getting closer. My favourites are # 3 where we see tha markings on the walls and the vertical lines on the right mirror the ramrod stance. Also #5 a wonderful close up.

Very nice and impressive. No way I could stand like that these days, but I did when I was young in the military. Can't do that anymore, but where are the horses?:G

Thanks for the comments!

They no longer sit on horses due to the terrorist risks I think. How having horsesmakes it worse- I don't know but the "horseboxes" on the front were shut!
