Here's a few from this week, I haven't had much time for shooting.

A Grape Leaf Skeletonizer, it's a type of moth. For these shots I just used the DCR5320 and the Sunpak 383 flash.





The humming birds are still around, this little one rests in our tree everyday just before sunset.These were natural light withthe DCR1540 teleconvertor.

Nice shots. Looks as though the Moth is a bit battle scarred.

Thanks for the comments!

The skeletonizer moth couldn't fly because of the wing. There were a few more flying around but this is the only one I could get close enough to shoot. They are normally twitchy, and move around alot like a wasp.

Here's another moth, it landed on the tree right in front of me. I guess it wanted it's picture taken.
