Pants, nice photos of the zebras. Congratulations on the new wife. I know that the honeymoon to Kenya must have been great. Like, Happy (Steve), I hope you did manage to get some photos of you and the new bride for your keepsake album.

Jerry.

Thanks guys. We haven't had the "professional" shots of the wedding back yet but I'll put one up from the honeymoon as I don't want to leave the missus out )

She doesnt half look different in them two images, both good. I dont get to do people shots as often as I like, but I would be happy with both them for different reasons.

She looks quite angry/scary in that first image  the water bdhind her looks nice, depth of fields a wonderful thing. She needed a flash in her face, or just more light maybe to get them eyes glowing a bit.

Second image is wonderful, love the black and white conversion and she just seems so happy for the camera and it shows. Like the way we cannot see much in the background, maybe edit that background a little to make it fully black, so its her in a black background, may work even better.

Nice pictures Pants and congratulations. I like the third pic (the zebras and the mountain) the most.

Thanks for the advice, she does look moody in the first shot, but I have her in the same spot smiling but it's not quite as atmospheric in my opinion.

With the second picture is was quite a lot brighter I changed the tonal curve to darken it and then turned it into a b+w.

Cheers

I always find it hard to get Black and White right, as really theres soo many different settings you can play with to change them.
