Default Can FZ1 take good Infrared Photos?

I am about to buy a Hoya IR72 filter for my FZ1. Need confirmation if the FZ1 can take good IR photo. Thanks!

I was just wondering the same thing the other day.

Maybe you should get the filter from a store that will let you return it if you don't like how it works with the FZ1. Go ahead and give it a try and let us know how it turns out.

I just earlier responded to Otime's post at dpreview :

Don't know if the example picture qualifies as good, but certainly looks promising. Some intro stuff on IR at :

So I guess the answer would be yes!

There's another thing for my wish list!

Mmmmm.... Infra-Red
(Doing best Homer impersenation)

Speaking of wish lists, does anyone know of a site (besides Amazon) that does Wish Lists? I want to compile a wish list for my camera and then when relatives are looking for gift ideas I can point them to it.
