I finally found some interesting subjects around here!

A jumping spider, I couldn't resist getting another one.

A Small moth but i don't have an ID on it, I've never seen one like this around here before.

The pattern on the wings is really cool!

My first good shots of a damselfly, I think it's some kind of Bluet. I had to chase it half way across the yard on my hands and knees before it settled down enough for me to get close.

Superb series Vaiboy. Great sharpness and nice lighting on them all. The damsel closeups look amazing at full size

Thanks for viewing and commenting Bali and Mark!

I actually just got a few shots of another damselfly from a better angle, I'll try to get them uploaded tomorrow!

I have tried a bit of damselfly chasing recently so I know what a bother they can be. You did well on this one.

Very nice shots. The damselfly is really a challenge to capture....

Thanks for the comments!

Mcliu - I've got to be about 4-5 inches away with the DCR-250 that sounds like it's really close but you would be suprised how many insects will let you get that close.
