July marks Canada Day on July 1st and Independance Day on July 4th is the US. Firworks celebrations take place all over North America at this time of year. There are may different ways to capture these fantastic light displays on camera. Here are a few of mine. All images except for the first one, which was shot at F2.8 with a 2 second exposure, were shot in manual mode at F8, 3 second exposure, ISO 80 with my FZ20. I'd like to see other forum members post their shots with EXIF info on this thread in the days to come.

excellent fireworks captures #1 is my fave , the lingering colors in the sky add a beautiful dimension to the photo.
I haven't shot fireworks inquite a while, but here are 3 of my faves taken with an Oly D550 before I became a Panahollic.
I'll try your setting this year and see if I get anything worth posting.

going up and comming down f4 1/2 sec iso 388 an unusual fireworks shot I was lucky to get.
