Just a few from a recent trip to the Lake District (UK), no actual lakes though as I was fell walking away from them:

1. The Band (Langdale):

2. Another view:

3. Scarfell and Scarfell Pike:

4. Dry stone walls:

5. Fenceline:

A few more here:

Like the first two. Even though the weather looks a little misty you have given us a really good feel for the beauty of the place. The first in particular has a nice depth to it that makes me want to walk into the picture.

Some fine images there. Been a while since I've ventured into the Lakes even though I drive through the entire length of Cumbria most weeks. i must make time to detour from the motorway

Very nice images, the first is my favorite but it was interesting to see how the rock fences were made.

Lovely shots. Not been across to the Lakes for a few years now so they bring back some nice memories

Nice shots. Made me feel nostalgic --- particularly as I am old enough to have been raised on the "Swallows & Amazons" series of childrens' books ... have not been to the Lake District for many years.
Thanks for posting.

#2 is quite beautiful, the sun trickling down the mountain side and into the valley..
The pine tree adds a nice touch to the composition.

A nice series. So, they are building the stone walls I read in another comment. I thought they were tied up in wire to preserve them. Shows what I know. I like number 2 for the feel of the place it evokes.
