still 2 megapixels ... but with manual controls (program AE, aperture/shutter priorities)

According to the threads on dpreview, it doesn't sound like the FZ2 is going to be released in the US, at least not for several months.

Since the only difference between it and my FZ1 is the aperture/shutter priority, I'm not going to bother. Now if they come out with a 3mp version, that's another story

It looks exactly the same except for a single different symbol on the selector knob.

I wonder if it's just different internal software. That might be installable on the FZ1.
