After a few days of cloudy weather, the moon appeared unusually attractive today.

I myself have advocated avoiding shooting the plain moon, but today I was inclined more on experimenting some effects on it. Here is a b/w effect on a digital zoom shot, with a border added to it. I somehow prefer the first photo.

I like the first one myself. More detail to my eyes. Both are better then most moons I have shot.

Thanks for looking and your comments. I tried to catch the full moon, but it was so cloudy yesterday that a clear view of the moon was not there.I got good snaps of the clouds.

I like the cloudy look. It creates a really nice mood. The plain ones are sharp and detailed. Well done on all.
