Hi all,

I've been ill plus my computer has been down.

I finally got a new HP Media Centercomputer but when I downloaded Opandas EXIF software for Vista, it does not work like it used to. I used to right click on a photo in My Pictures or on a postfrom here and choices came up like EXIF info and resizeing. Now none of that is offered.I have to save a photo and then open Opanda to pull the EXIF info up. Believe me, the right click with the options is a lot easier.

Has anyone had this problem and were you able to find a program that you can read exif info from photos on the net or your Vista computer by just right clicking and having these options come upwith the normals options offered by right clicking.

I hope my question is worded so you understand it.

BTW!It's good to be back again folks,

Have you checked that the browser and shell extensions are enabled ?

Run Opanda on it's own, click on 'Advance Mode' on the right

Click on 'Options'

Ensure that the 'Browser / Shell Extension' box is ticked.

Cheers

I look at my pictures with Windows Photo Gallery and can see most EXIF data by right-clicking a picture (or thumbnail) and clicking on properties. The Details tab gives me EXIF data. For some reason though, in Vista it does not tell me flash was used. I think it did when I used it in XP, although I can't remember for sure.

Thanks guys,

Tony, I've got all the settings like you said but it still does not work with the Right Click. I can run it on it's own but it was so nice to be able to just right click on any photo, wheather on the net or in my computer and have the EXIF info pop up.

Happy, I use and likethe Windows program but I can't read EXIF info on posted photos with it. I have always, learned a lot here simply by checking out the EXIF info on a posted photo that I liked.

Genece, Does that program intergrate with Vista so I can right click for the info?

Genece, I downloaded the Kuso and it works perfectly with Vista. Don't know why the Opanad did not work but I'm set now with the Kuso.

Thanks a lot,
