As well as messing about with the tcon for macro shots, i`ve been experimenting to see just how much detail the fz20 can achieve with bird shots, and the use of fill flash to enhance detail.The bird shots were all taken in the garden, at a range of about 8ft or less, down to the min focus distance of the tcon.







Also been to the local reserve trying for mammal shots.....

The fill flash seems to be working for you, terrific detail. Love that second squirrel shot. Very nice with the rich colours of the background and the fur.

Thanks Raf. I was pleased how well that squirrel shot turned out considering the poor light/slow shutter speed.

I have to agree with Rafael's comments Mark. It seems that you've mastered the use of flash with your FZ. I like the colours of the second squirrel shot.
