of course we had lorikeets (rainbow this week rather than musk) and a not very inspiring setting, but this gets them into the garden...


the long billed corellas came back again this weekend.....


but mostly I concentrated on the crested pigeons. It was fairly overcast so the background is a little yuk....








unless they dropped to the ground for their seeds

These Crested Pigeons; do they come around often? They are rather nice looking birds.

Steve, They are fairly regular visitors, but they tend to be daytime visitors rather than morning and afternoon, so I tend to miss them. As I was shooting them the lorikeets dropped by for their afternoon feed and drove them away. Thanks for looking.

The crested pigeon, picture number 5 looks very nice Rafael. Another variety of birdsthat I have not seen before.

You do have some colorful birds, the only place I have seen these is in the zoo.

I'm still amazed at the varity of beautiful birds in your back yard Rafael.Every shot is exposed just perfect and the detail is great.
