Does anyone know if it's possible to shoot 'tethered' so that any shots can immediately be downloaded to a laptop, and then into Adobe Lightroom?

Thanks for any advice

If your laptop has video in, you canview and examine on the laptop, the same as on the camera LCD....but the transfer and / or control of the camera is not possible. At least I can not figure how to do that.

Bibble supports tandem/tethered shooting, but not remote operation. Only downloads to the PC bypassing the memory card.

Let me add that I do not know anything in regard to Adobe Lightroom.

But Bibble does not support any Panasonic camera in tethered mode  nor can it because the cameras do not have the capability.

The way I read that.
But not for tethered shooting.

Code:
Lake Travis, Austin, Tx (June 8, 2007) - Bibble Labs, Inc. announced immediate availability of version 4.9.8 of its "Pro" and "Lite" RAW workflow software. New cameras added in this release include Canon 1D Mark III, Fujifilm S5 Pro, Nikon D40x, Olympus E-510, E-410, and SP500 UZ and Panasonic FZ8, This release also adds tethered shooting support for newer Canon cameras (Windows Vista and Intel Mac) and Fuji S5 (Windows). Like its preceding eleven major and minor releases, this latest update is free for all current Bibble 4 customers.

LiveSquid,

The Bibble web page that you reference does, indeed, list those Panasonic models as supported. But the introductory text to that table needs special attention:

Quote:
Bibble Pro and Bibble Lite can process JPEG images from any camera, and support RAW files from the cameras listed below.

The cameras that work in tethered mode with Bibble Pro also listed in the table below.
The cameras with tethered support are identified with an additional entry such as
Quote:
Tethered Shooting on Windows & PowerPC Mac: All dSLR's supported
The Panasonic entry in the table does not include this wording, therefore I interpret it to mean that they are supported RAW-wise but not tethered-wise. The cameras do not have the capability anyway.

Sorry to be such a nit-picker, but that's me. :blah:
