Beautiful shot T !

I have spent numerous hours trying to get a nice shot of a honey bee and I must say, it is no easy task. :-) Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.

This is very nice. When did you shoot it may I ask, and what kind of flower is Ms. Bee enjoying?

Thanks Teree and Steve for the nice comments.
Steve, I took the shot on July 22 and I believe the flower was Alyssum.

Why do the bees never pose like that for me? A really nice capture.

Hi T,

This is an oustanding shot with great detail. Can you tellme exactly what your setup to take that macro shot was and the camera you used.

Thanks Tom, glad you liked it. The set-up was as follows:
FZ-50
Nikon 6t or 3t close-up lens. I really can't remember which I was using but probably the 6t.
shutter 500
aperture f8
P mode
ISO 100
no flash
spot focus
NR low
Hand held.
