Gene,

Your wife did well. Nice shot and a terrific series. You seem to get lots of great whale shots. I dare not show my wife as she will mortage the house to get over there to see the whales.

A nice set of photos. I do like the ones with the gulls and whales together and would like to see that someday.

No they were on a trip to New England a few weeks ago......most of them were on trips out of Gloucester,Mass.

Wow, excellent pics! For those of you who have never tried to photograph a whale, let me tell you, it is very difficult. Genece makes a deep sea fisherman look like a kid with ADD! I have a place in Maui, and the whales come out like crazy in the winter months (January thru March). I have an FZ30 and a 20d, and Genece has far better pics than I. Congratulations. I also saw an excellent segment on Planet Earth the newNG series. Excellent shots of whales and sharks. I am tempted to get a HD DVD player just to buy that series. Genece, you are my new hero on this forum. Amazing work, really! This man deserves a medal!

Thanks for the kind words.....but we were on a few really good trips, even the Naturalists were impressed....
