The traditional South Indian temple architecture always attracts me. Here are a few towers, big and small.

2 This was a huge tower, but unfortunately it was night time when I visited this temple in Sankarankovil, Tamil Nadu. I liked the way the mercury lamp was illuminating the "kalasam"s on both sides of the lamp.

Last one. The sun was casting a very bright backlight on the right side. So I have removed the almost white sky in the background.

Beautiful Raghu. I'm sure each and every statue on the Temples has it's own meaning. Are they still building new Temples like this?
