Nice set Gene. Is that you getting close to the bears?

Well I reckon your wife is getting great value out of the FZ30 and rather than killing you she is doing you proud with your choice of camera for her to use.

I love the fox peeking out from behind the tree and the shots of the goat(? or whatever the horned animal is).

Hello Gene, Very nice shot but with a little PP...

Besides color adjustment, I fixed up the two blown out spot wolf's flank and grass in upper left.

Thanks guys....yeah that was me near the bears and while I was not permitted there . It would have been difficult for the bears to get to me....There was a moat between us.

And to be honest I did not notice that cast untill you pointed it out....I tried to correct it.....

Your wife is getting pretty good with the FZ30. Are you still liking your DSLR as much as you did?

Yes I do.....its hard to explain, but I am standing in line for the D300.

Its the focus speed and accuracy and the optical viewfinder that I really like. Also I am almost always near the car so the equiptment is not a problem for me.

Image quality difference for my purposes is not all that great but there is a difference.

White balance and some color rendering and the DRis also better.

These are quite nice. The wife and camera are a good match.

Gene, the wife really compliments the camera. Just think what she could do with the DSLR. (Not trying to start anything, now. Are you standing in line for her next camera?)

I am hopingthe D300 will overwelm her......and I sure do hope there is a FZ60, with some less NR.....but I am getting afraid its the FZ18 and the new DSLR.

Oh well maybe someone else will step up.

Hey Gene, great to see that you are still posting here. Love the pics of the wolves. They are such a beautiful animal. The pics were so good, I thought you shot them trespassing in your backyard. Your photography is awe inspiring as always, keep up the good work. I am going to try to check this forum regularly esp. being that I just bought an FZ50 a few weeks back. Keep up the great work, and keep posting!
