These are low grade ISO 200 dim light photos and show the heavy hand of both camera and Neat Image noise reduction, but it is a cute set so I thought I would share anyway. Last one is a flash shot as the gloom was getting even gloomier.

1. Squirrel stealing a mouthful of seeds.

2. A chipmunk climbs the post

3. And dives right in where the good stuff is.

4. The bemused Cardinal watches in amazement.

5. The greedy little rodent comes out with a ton of seeds in his cheeks.

Thanks for looking and commenting mcliu, Jerry and tinosa. I suppose now that I know he is there I could try putting food out in the sun time to get better shots, but I doubt I would get cuter ones.

As an aside, I had a WP document where I was matching all the user names with real names so I could respond with them, but that computer up and fried so I have to start over.

If that computer comes back from the shop reformatted I will also have lost a slew of bird and bug pictures I had not yet backed up. Good thing I posted my favorites to flickr right away.

Great pics. I love the first and last the best cause the background is blurred out. Like fashion pics. Sorry I am a gal at heart. BTW, I tried to look at your profile to see which camera you shoot with, but you didn't list them. Which camera did you use? I love the pics, keep posting, it is guys like you that keep the forum alive and kicking!

List camera in profile? I never thought of that. These were all shot with an FZ7. And, I can't take too much credit for these pictures. This was just a short span of time where all these critters came together at the feeder while I was nearby so I took their picture. Thanks for your nice comments.

An excellent series, Steve-

...with a bit of added humor as well. I love those full pouches!
