Very cool - the place, the bird and the shot.

Very nice tcook. I'm with genece on the exposure. It might be better with a little more but then again, the dark shady look is very nice to look at.

Well, he did pick a right scenic place so sit and pose for the picture. And you captured him well.

Ted, a very nice capture indeed, in a very natural habitat.

Thanks everyone for looking and the nice comments.
Genece and Don, I did play with the exposure some in PP but decided I liked it a little dark. I wish I had taken more time and another shot and captured more of the reflection of the heron in the water.

I like the setting and the bird looks happy there ;-)

How do you like the Z50 ? (I think you stepped up from a Z20)

I still use the Z30

Thanks John for the nice comment. Actually, I stepped up from the FZ-15 to the FZ-30 but it was stolen and I replaced it with the FZ-50. I am happy with the FZ-50 but would have been happy if I still had my FZ-30, both are great cameras. There are a few things I would like to change on the FZ-50 but there will probably never be a perfect camera.
