Raining on the first daylight since I bought the FX100. So, I went marco shooting.
I'm very happy with the results, I'll find more interesting subjects as I go.

Settings:
Normal Mode
No flash, position: below skylight
Tripod used
Low Noise Reduction
Fixed 80 ISO
1 Area Focus: High Speed

If you wish to see the full sized crop you can click on Original at the bottom of each photo here; http://www.pbase.com/metalfab/panasonic_fx100

Comments welcome

Nice and sharp. Is the color rendition accurate in the money shots? I can tell the screwdriver looks good but the only Canadian money I ever see is an occasional tarnished penny that sneaks into my change.

Very crisp and clean images and excellent detail especially in the machining marks on the tip of the screwdriver.

Looks like you've got a keeper for sure.

Looking forward to some of your non-macro shots.

Thanks Steve for the comments and yes, the color is very accurate. The natural light from the skylight helped a lot.
