In the bird post I made earlier, the Palm Warbler was shot here. This is a lake front park and Lake Michigan is behind me as I shot this. The statues are three aspects of Daphne.

While not familiar with Daphne, I find trhem unusual. The skyline is eyecatching, especially the blueish aspects of the bulidings. Is this a result of PP? In any case, I like it. What are the two tallest bulidings? Seems I have seen them before on the web or elsewhere.

Daphne is a girl in Greek mythology.

A wee bit of post processing, but the city was bluish to start with. A combination of haze (or air pollution) and the sun having just risen so it was low over the lake and reflecting extra blue light from the water. Lake Michigan is very useful for making things blue if I play the light right.

I am not sure what the pointed one is called but the largest one in this shot is the now called the Aon Building, but was called the Standard Oil Building when built. Third tallest building in the U.S. and second tallest in Chicago.

Back to Daphne. More at link below from back in January when my camera was new and I went there to play with settings and such.

The pointed building is the "TWO PRUDENTIAL PLAZA" building - 303m to the top!

Thanks for building name Tony. There are many buildings with names in Chicago and I know very few of them. And Ted, it is a bit too big for me also. The place I took the shot from is about eleven miles from my house and not even half way to the other side of the city from where I live.
