It looks like it's been there for a while. I always thought you had to roll the bottles every once in a while. Don't know how they would do that, stacked the way it is.

Interesting - somehow I had imagined a wine cellar would store in racks of some kind - looks a bit precarious if anyone has a mind to play a bit o' jenga!

There are several stacks of wine like this but they are actually just for display for visitors. There are other rooms that hold the wine ready for tasting and sale.
