That houses the wine cellar in the previous shots. The castle is in California's Napa Valley and took 14 years and 34 million dollars to build.

Having just returned from France,and having visited some castles and chateau's where that building probably would not have ratedas a guard's house, that's quite a number to contemplate.... what those places, in todays dollars, originally cost...also probablyis a good indication as towhy the monarchy and aristocratswho built them are no longer around!

It can't rival the originals but I must admit it is pretty impressive for California. Not nearly as impressive as Hearst Castle though. Thanks for looking.

It is called Castello di Amarosa Castle and I believe the owners name is Dave Sattui.
