Hi All,

I took this Elk jpeg and played with it in Paint Shop Pro sofware and came up with this Autumn painting. Some may like it and some may not but itsa different way of seeing.

Tom, The painting effect looks nice but It looks like you had an outstanding photograph on it's on merit.

It does look nice. I also think the original might have been great on its own. But if not this probably did improve it.

Thats the best paint converstion that I have seen.

Don't know how much control you have over the canvas - but oil painters do not allow the white of the canvas to show through, soif you can get rid or reduce that hatch / canvas effect showing through, that may add to the authentic look
