Mark, I've wasted at list20 to 30 shots before I was able to understand their flying pattern. I was getting mostlyempty branches, half the birdor out of focus shots. I pre-focused at the branch where they landed the most, after that I started getting some good shots. Very nervous bird, never stay more than few seconds on the same spot.

Don The chickens belonged to one of the many monasteries on the island. They were running around in an huge enclosed area which included rocks andtrees. As soon as I moved close to them they wouldrun away. The shots were taken from at list 30 feet away.

tinosa Thanks for your nice comments

Emmanuel,

I like the #1 shot of the rooster, but especially like your captures of the chick-a-dee. It is a great deal harder, (at least, for me) to get a still shot of the chick-a-dee. Very nice captures indeed.

I did read your comments to the others post. Patience is a virture, even with this hoppy.:-):-)

Thanks for your comments Jerry. You need a lot of patience to capture few good shots of this little bird.

Emmanuel
