can't you do this
open image
Image/apply image/screen
Layer/duplicate layer
select top layer
filter/blur/guassian blur
instead of lining up and stuff

crazy thing I juust did. I will post pics soon probably off flickr. I'm still messing around before I submit anything. I want to get better first. I used 3 images from my exposure settings. +2 and -2 and 0..
used the dynamic HDR program I got.
lapsed them over to create the hdr pic.
Took the hdr. Did the orton effect with the pic.
instead of a large gaussian blur I only did like 8%
and the bottom layer I used unsharp mask and sharpened it a lot and WOW it comes out cool. I need to take a better pic of the effect to show you tho. the one I used was not to good of a quality pic but, the effect is insane



PS If anyone has any other posts kinda like this let me know PLEAE haha. I can't find anything but, I haven't had much time to search all your forums yet. At least its a decently large site. Just send me the links for them or on here I'll check them out.

Gives a painting like effect to shots, I`ve only tried it with one image but it looks quite nice.
