Based on the reflections I would say that is one calm pond. A nice set of shots. I am partial to the shot of those Hooded Mergansers since I have never seen a pair together like that. And when I do see even one it is at the far side of a scummy pond somewhere.

A nice set of shots, the middle one looks like a female muscovie that lives here in the bayou. I am not familiar with the ones in the last photo, though it reminds me of what we call a woodduck.

Very nice Ted. I love the gull photo. Very sharp with lots of detail and that reflection really makes the photo.

3 excellent shots. Love the reflection in the first shot....almost a mirror image due to the calm water.The dark background really makes the bird stand out and enhances the sharpness too.

Thanks all for looking and the nice comments. The pond has an algae bloom and is green colored. I think that helps the reflections.
