I haven't been on here in ages. It's not that I haven't been taking pictures, it's just that my daughter has been taking much better ones with the family DSLR!

Still, I'm posting these, not because they'rethe best squirrel pics in the world, but becausethey are just a bit of fun.

They were taken throughthe dining roomwindow with an FZ7.

Munchy (as my daughter has named him) had been stuffing down sunflowers seeds for around ten minutes when he suddenly started to lose his balance...

Mmm ... more delicious seeds...

Spotted!!!

A pictorial study of grim determination. Nice. And I think they are fine shots. DSLR quality is good, but cameras are tools to help paint what your eyes see and an FZ7 is a fine tool. All my bird pictures are taken with one in fact.

Theyre persistent little devils.....also, if they find they cant get the food from the feeder the solution is simple.....they destroy it :-)

Great shots of a very photogenic animal

Thanks for the nice comments, guys. We've had squirrels visit the bird table before, but never one who was intent on stuffing himself until he was fit to burst.

To Steve: I think you obtain some amazing bird shots with the FZ7. It's an excellent camera as non DSLRS go,especially if the right person is using it.

Check out this guy. Munchy will look like this if he is not careful.

Very good series. It is a determined little rascal isn't it. Your shots look fine to me. FZ7 isn't a DSLR but it's sure a lot easier to grab and useon shots like these.

Oh my goodness! Maybe I should print this out and attach it to the bird table as a warning.:-)
