Was scouting some outdoor portrait locations this morning & snapped a few images during the process with the FZ8...

This is a fine set. A bit greener there then here. I like the oak leaves close-up shot, and the second to last one. All good though. I imagine you found lots of good outdoor portrait places.

Verdant is the word. Well captured, such rich greens. Enjoyed the set.

I like the way you`ve framed these Greg. I`ve taken a few tree shots recently that despite the great autumn colours they look rather plain(mostly full tree shots), i`ll have to try framing differently to focus attention more on what I want to capture. Thanks for the inspiration

Thanks guys!

Yes, Steve, I did find some good spots. The trees are just starting to turn here as it's barely gotten cold enough for them to even know they're supposed to.

I switched to my FZ50 for those shots, using my Olympus FL50 as a fill-in..

Hi Mark,

Thanks. I try to always utilize the grid lines and compose around the intersections to keep, at least as much as possible, the main subjects out of the center of the frame.

Nice shots, I can see the fall colors have not set in there yet.
