Nice shots motion shots are allways tuff for me anyway , id have to go with the last 1 as my favorite .

Steve, I can only resound everyone else's comments.

When it comes to birding, you are the Audubon of the camera in this group, much like Tan and the spiders. Still waiting for the book. :-) In any case, superb photos.

Thanks for kind comments RedStickMan, Ted, Emmanuel, pappy and Jerry. Sometimes the shots work out. Sometimes they don't though. I have shot many Horned Grebes over the last year, and have yet to get a shot I think is decent.

And Mark, do get down to the shore. Just try and keep the wind behind you so you don't get salt spray on that new camera.

These are all very good Steve but for some reason the last one speaks to me more than the others. It does look cold there. I applaud your perservance. I'd be takingwhat ever I could getfrom my car with the heater on.

Thanks Don. It was not as cold as it looked. I even took my gloves off a little while.
There is nothing like frothy spitting water to give a cold feel, especially with the pale sort of light in that photo.
